Since 1966, John Georgette has performed a wide variety of poetry styles including lyrics for punk rock songs, Haikus, Shakespearean-type sonnets, rhymed and un-rhymed, long and short verse, rap and slam-style poems in numerous North American cities as well as in Europe and South America. His writing at times takes on the influences of the Beat Poets and writers, especially Jack Kerouac. He is an artist, playwright, author of nationally-aired political, economic and social commentaries, musician, composer and host of musical and political radio programs on the Community Public Radio Network.
