Hosted by Victoria Munoz Wednesday, May 2, 6:30- 7:45pm Silas Bronson Library, 267 Grand St. Waterbury, CT (downstairs auditorium) Generations Invitational Poetry Slam The battle pits the young against the, ahem, older during an evening in which words will linger in the air as the Silas Bronson Library hosts an invitational poetry slam competition. In one corner, will be the so-called OneWord CT/ CT National Youth Poetry Slam Team 2012, a group of teenage poets who participate in the art of competitive performance poetry. In the other: legacy adult slammers Elizabeth Thomas, Faith Vicinanza, Ameen-Storm Abo-Hamzy, Ernie Blue. See you there!! Open Mike if time. Next reading will be Wed.
