Stories From the Other Side 5th Edition, a new book:
This anthology is about human courage and compassion in the face of some of life's more challenging rites-of-passage; these epiphanies are teaching and learning, moments captured by new and exciting voices, some previously unpublished.

It's an honor to have selected poems of mine and my family also published in this book, thanks to Frank Crowley, editor.

2000 FLUTES! at the National Flute Convention in New York City
For a world breaking event for the Guinness Book of World Records, nearly 2000 flutists came together on the morning of August 14 to perform a piece called Galway's Fantasy, under the direction of James Galway. The record of Largest Flute Ensemble WAS broken (previous record was 1,975 in China earlier this year).

The link below shows a news cast on WNPR and a video on www.jeannegalway.com of the performance. In the picture for NPR I am the one sitting in back of the the guy standing up in the isle at the bottom of the picture, a woman with a red top is sitting next to me.
