ROOTS TO ROCK II
Saturday, November 6 · 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Bridgewater Congregational Church
10 Clapboard Road (Rt. 133 at Clapboard Road)
Bridgewater, CT

They're back!!!

The wildly popular Revuers are back with a whole new line-up of great and timeless rock & roll! The 300-strong, sold-out crowd last year nearly brought down the rafters, so the band has revved up a setlist guaranteed to rattle the rafters again . . . and keep you dancing’ in your seats . . . again!

The second Roots Rock Revue concert will take place at the Bridgewater Congregational Church on November 6, 2010. The ...concert will sample a variety of rock and roll songs as well as earlier blues, country and folk music that informed rock & roll. The menu will also include a good helping of the music that continued to evolve from rock & roll.

The Revue will pay tribute to early artists such as Robert Johnson, Little Walter, and Townes Van Zandt. The show will also sample early Rock&Rollers like Richie Valens, Dick Dale, and Chuck Berry. The concert will conclude with later songs by artists such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Band and The Grateful Dead.

Last year’s show sold out and was a blast! The organizers expect more of the same this year. With 17 performers covering more than 20 songs spanning over 100 years, and a variety of acoustic and electric instruments, we will have something for everyone.

An after-party will follow the performance and is included in the price of the ticket.

Tickets are $25 and seating is limited. Tickets can be held at the door once payment is received. Make checks payable to The Bridgewater Congregational Church and send to, PO Box 7, Bridgewater, CT 06752. If you have questions or wish to purchase tickets in person the church office is open between 10:00-noon weekdays and is located on Main Street in the Bridgewater CT. 860-354-8283.

If you didn't make this show---IT WAS AMAZING and a blast to be part of this show.
I was thrilled to be featured in a couple of songs as well as back-up vocals on a couple others. It was a different kind of show for the whole family and educational too. I really enjoyed the arrangements as well as taking part in some of the arranging! Look for them next year!
