it’s only in a moment that it happens--
a song, a kiss, a smile, a tear--
one tone; the wink of an eye.

one meeting of ideas in conversation--
with one click of your mind’s eye, a photograph taken—
a moment of emotion that hits you’re heart

like a bolt of lightning and gives just enough to realize—
then catches you again like a web with release
leaving only the memory of a moment—

it’s only in a moment that it happens—
a tear, a smile, a kiss, a song,
one tone-- the wink of an eye.
